Kaman Leads Germany to Opening Round Olympic Win

BEIJING, China -- Former Central Michigan University standout Chris Kaman scored a team-high 24 points while leading Germany to a 95-66 win over Angola in opening round action at the 2008 Olympic Games.
Kaman was an efficient 10-of-12 from the floor while also grabbing two rebounds. He and fellow NBA star Dirk Nowitzki rested the entire fourth quarter of the game.
Nowitzki finished with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
Next up for the Germans is another pool play game against Greece on Tuesday.
