Both Cross Country Programs Regionally Ranked

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Both Central Michigan cross country programs find themselves ranked in the top-15 programs in the Great Lakes Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) this week.
The women's team cracked the rankings for the first time this season at No. 15, while the men maintained their previous ranking at No. 13.
Other MAC programs ranked in the women's poll include Toledo (No. 6), Miami (No. 10) and Akron (No. 11).
Other MAC programs ranked in the men's poll include Kent State (No. 10), Miami (No. 11) and Eastern Michigan (No. 13).
Both programs have the week off, in preparation for the MAC Championship meet on Oct. 31, hosted by Ohio University.
