Soccer To Host Fifth Annual Alumni Reunion

MOUNT PLEASANT-The Central Michigan University soccer program is excited to announce its Fifth Annual CMU Soccer Alumni Reunion, scheduled for Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1.
Over the past few years this event has experienced tremendous growth and the soccer program is looking forward to hosting both our CMU women’s and men’s soccer alumni again this year. For both groups, this will be an opportunity to catch up with friends and former teammates while reconnecting with the current players representing Chippewa soccer. All former players, families and friends are invited to attend this special event.
The weekend will feature the current Chippewa women's team competing against the women's alumni players, current CMU men's club team, and the Burlington Sting. Additionally, the men's alumni players will be participating in a scrimmage against the current CMU men's club team. Alumni, family and friends from both groups are welcome to attend all matches. On Saturday evening, there will be a social gathering for all former players at a local restaurant following the evening’s matches. There will be a light breakfast offered on Sunday morning at the Indoor Athletic Complex. (See schedule below for complete details.)

Sunday, March 1st
9:30 a.m. CMU women’s team vs. CMU men’s club team
10:45 a.m. Ferris State women’s team vs. Burlington (Ontario) Sting
12:00 p.m. Kalamazoo College women’s team vs. Ferris State women’s team
1:15 p.m. Kalamazoo College women’s team vs. Burlington (Ontario) Sting
2:30 p.m. CMU women’s team vs. Burlington (Ontario) Sting
A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate through the Super 8 Hotel (right across the street from our Indoor Athletic Complex and O’Kelly’s Sports Bar). Rooms are available for both Friday and Saturday nights (February 27 and 28). These rooms are available to CMU alumni and any parents who plan to visit as well.
