2009 Boys Basketball Team Camps

Coach Ernie Zeigler and his staff have brought an exciting brand of basketball to CMU. They're inviting you to attend one of the team's educational basketball camps this summer to improve your teams skills on the court while having fun and building team chemistry. Camps will consist of team-building time and high-level competition. Team camps offer opportunities for your team members to enhance their basketball skills and take their game to the next level. Camps include: Special lectures by Coach Zeigler and his staff, highly competitive games in air-conditioned facilities, superb training facilities. Terrance Chatman- Director of Basketball Operations FACILITIES Team Camps will take place in the nearby Student Activity Center features a 6, 800 square-foot weight fitness center, 7-air conditioned courts and pool. Checks should be made out to Central Michigan University (CMU) GROUP DISCOUNTS/REFUND POLICY Refund Policy: a $200 deposit will reserve your team's spot in the 2009 Central Michigan University Team Camp. The deposit will be forfeited if your team cancels. Prorated refunds for individual campers are given only in instances of illness or injury once the camp starts. Individuals injured in camps need to submit refund requests in writing by e-mail cmucamps@cmich.edu, fax 989-774-2540, or mail (postmark date applies). June camp refund request will be considered if received by July 3, 2009. July camp refund requests will be considered if received by August 4, 2009. MEDICAL CARE AND CAMP CONDUCT Each camp participant must have received a physical examination within the year before attending camp and must be certified by his or her physician as physically able to participate in the sports camp. CMU will provide a fully qualified trainer during instruction times. Medical bills are the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian. CMU carries excess medical insurance with limits up to $2,000 per accident per participant, subject to a $500 deductible. This means the coverage is in excess of the participant’s own insurance, or in excess of a $500 deductible, whichever amount is greater. The deductible and any other medical expenses not covered by insurance are the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian. Campers must attend all sessions unless excused for medical reasons. Campers who do not follow conduct rules for camp will be dismissed without a fee refund. Use of drugs or alcohol is prohibited. CMU reserves the right to cancel any of its sports camps up to one month before the starting date of the camp. *Once you enroll your team, you will receive a confirmation packet that will include the individual registration/waiver forms for your players to fill out and send in along with a roster form. You may use your personal credit card to hold your teams spot in a CMU team camp, however, if your team cancels your card will be charged.
