Men's Basketball vs. Eastern Michigan: MAC Tournament Game Notes

The Central Michigan University Chippewas are the No. 7 seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament and CMU opens against No. 10 Eastern Michigan on Tuesday at noon in Quicken Loans Arena.

 CMU tied for the MAC West Division title with a 7-9 record while the Eagles have won four straight to finish 6-10.

Eastern won both meetings this season in dramatic fashion, posting a double-overtime win over the Chippewas in Ypsilanti and eking out a one-point win in Mount Pleasant as CMU had the final possesion of the game.

The two teams have met only once in the MAC Tournament in 1987 as CMU won in the semifinals before knocking off Kent State in the championship game.

The winner faces No. 2 Ball State on Thursday at noon.
