State Farm Scholar Athlete of the Week - Molly Gerst

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Molly Gerst is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Gerst recorded the third hat trick in program history and the first since 2004 in a win at Ohio on Saturday. The performance was also her fifth career multi-goal effort, the second most in school history, and her six pointsrecorded against the Bobcats were the second highest total in a single match in program history. She finished with five shots on the weekend, three on goal.
A senior majoring in language arts, Gerst maintains a 3.61 grade-point average.
Each week, one student-athlete is selected the State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
