Chippewas Kick Off Practice

MOUNT PLEASANT — Coming off its most successful season in school history, the Central Michigan soccer team hit the pitch on Wednesday morning for its first day of practice.
The defending Mid-American Conference champions started with a day of conditioning tests and skill exercises during a two-hour workout.
The Chippewas open their exhibition season Aug. 13, against Michigan at the CMU Soccer Complex. The regular season begins on Aug. 20 when CMU hosts Wright State.
