| All-Time Series -- CMU is 0-2 all-time against Illinois in a series that began in 1990, 4-9 against Stetson (1985). Saturday's game will be the first meeting on the diamond between Central Michigan and Columbia. Spring Break -- CMU will play eight games in 10 days during its Spring Break trip through Florida, playing in both the Bright House Invitational and the Russ Matt Tournament. Clash at Comerica -- CMU will host Michigan State in the first college baseball game in the history of Comerica Park on April 20 [Release ] . Speed to Burn -- Last season, CMU had just eight triples as a team. Junior Tyler Hall has sprinted his way to three already in 2011. Two-Sport Star -- Starting shortstop Robbie Harman was a four-year letterwinner on CMU’s men’s basketball team and holds the program record for made three-pointers at 233. He also ranks fifth in career steals (162) and is one of just 27 players in program history to score 1,000 points.
