This spring, Breakfast of Champions is more than a catchy phrase on a cereal box, it's a new event for members of the 1100 Club.
On April 2, the Chippewa Athletic Fund invites members of the 1100 Club to get up early and join the Chippewa Football coaching staff for breakfast before the Chippewas' ninth practice of the spring.
This event is designed to allow the best friends of CMU Football to socialize while also providing a sneak preview of the 2011 team.
Members get to enjoy breakfast at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, followed by an inside look at the team almost two weeks before the Spring Game. That means the inside scoop on new coaches, position battles and rising stars that will help shape the 2011 season.
