			All-Time Series -- CMU owns a 42-14 edge in the all-time series against Akron, dating back to 1968, including a three-game sweep at Theunissen Stadium last season. The Chippewas rallied for a comeback win in each of the three contests, jumpstarting their season. Last Time in Akron -- CMU claimed two-of-three the last time it traveled to Akron, back in 2006. Lucky Number Seven -- Sam Russell and Matt Faiman enter the weekend riding seven-game hitting streaks. Russell had an eight-game streak earlier this year, while its Faiman's longest of the season.  Good to be Perfect -- Dietrich Enns tossed three perfect innings against Michigan to earn his second save earlier this week, fanning five.
