Volleyball Chippewa Champions Events – A spirit of togetherness between our programs and their closest friends is what lies at the heart of Chippewa Champions. One in-season and one out-of-season event will be held to celebrate and recognize the Volleyball Chippewa Champions – the people who help make success possible. Information regarding time and place will be placed on this page, or you may contact the Chippewa Athletic Fund liaison listed below. Champions Weekends- The upper club lounge in McGuirk Arena will be open to Chippewa Champions for every Friday and Saturday home match during the 2013 season (9/27, 9/28, 10/12, 10/25, 10/26, 11/8, 11/9). The lounge opens at 6:00 p.m. each night, one hour prior to the start of the match. Champions will receive two drink tickets and hear from Assistant Coach Mitch Kallick prior to the start of the match for an inside look at the evening's opponent. New this year, all Saturday events will feature a spread of complimentary hot appetizers. We ask that Chippewa Champions RSVP to the Chippewa Athletic Fund if they plan on attending that weekend's event. Homecoming Event – All Chippewa Champions are eligible to receive two complimentary admissions to the Athletic Fund Pre-Game Tailgate at Touchdown Terrace as well as two complimentary tickets to the homecoming football game on Saturday, October 19. The tailgate opens at 11:00 a.m. and kickoff is at 3:00 p.m. Please call the Chippewa Athletic Fund at 989-774-6680 for more details and to RSVP for this great event. | ||
| Our former Chippewa student-athletes are among the greatest resources for current athletes. You are a link to our tradition of greatness and your achievements beyond Mount Pleasant extend our reach by bringing notoriety and prestige to our programs. CMU Athletics has success today, in large part, because of our special alumni. Chippewa Champions presents a unique opportunity for our programs and letterwinners to re-connect. It allows our former letterwinners to remain a part of the inner circle of CMU Athletics and to contribute financially to the success of current and future student-athletes. In becoming a Chippewa Champion, our former athletes ensure that their positive impact on the program didn't end after their final competitive performance. | ||
