The Chippewa Athletic Fund is proud to announce the launch of a new campaign that will give our programs a unique opportunity to redefine success in the Mid-American Conference!
Chippewa Champions is a program that allows donors to make an above and beyond gift and receive above and beyond benefits. Each sport at CMU is responsible for identifying Championship Fund initiatives. Whether it is money for an additional coach or a revamping of recruiting technology, Championship Fund initiatives are projects that can elevate a team to new heights. By contributing to these funds, Chippewa supporters become vested in a program's success at an intimate level in essence, they champion these programs. With the advent of Chippewa Champions, these supporters will receive additional benefits for this above and beyond gift.
For a minimum donation of $500 to a sport's championship fund, you become a Chippewa Champion of that sport. With that $500 donation you receive unique, sport-specific benefits unavailable to anyone else. Chippewa Champions is a separate program from the Chippewa Club. To receive Chippewa Club benefits, Chippewa Champions must give at least $100 in addition to the $500 gift.
Chippewa Champions benefits include:
- Exclusive apparel item specific to each program
- Game day program and website recognition
- Monthly audio email updates from each program with "inside info" not found anywhere else
- An invitation to your sport's year end banquet
- An invitation to two exclusive annual events
- An invitation to an event that brings together Chippewa Champions from all sports
- And More!
Chippewa Champions offers a unique way for alumni to reconnect with the programs they helped form and for Chippewa fans to become part of the inner circle of their favorite sport. Most importantly, Chippewa Champions is a vehicle to uniquely impact our student-athletes and contribute to bettering their experiences as Chippewas.
