Hall, Theunissen Earn All-MAC Tournament Honors

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - Central Michigan junior infielder Tyler Hall and junior designated hitter Nate Theunissen have been named to the All-Mid-American Conference Tournament Team.
Hall batted .438 (7-for 16) with a double, triple and home run in CMU's four tournament games. He drew four walks, stole a pair of bases, scored three runs and drove in five runs. His on-base percentage was .571.
Hall's best game of the tournament came in the Chippewas' come-from-behind 9-8 win over Toledo. He hit for the cycle, going 4-for-4 at the plate, including a bases-loaded triple in the top of the ninth inning that tied the score. Hall scored the winning run later in the inning.
Theunissen hit a team-leading .500 (8-for-16) with a team-high 1.313 slugging percentage in the tournament. Four of his eight hits were home runs, and he drove in a team-leading seven runs while scoring a team-high tying five runs in the tournament.
Theunissen homered in three of CMU's four games and had three multi-hit efforts. He was 3-for-3 with a pair of homers and four RBIs in CMU's opening round loss to Western Michigan.
Both individuals earn all-tournament honors for the first time in their careers.
