At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, the books will close on the 2010-11 fiscal year and the Chippewa Athletic Fund membership drive will officially end.
This means there is precious little time to step up and make a contribution that will have a profound impact on CMU student-athletes and your favorite Chippewa teams.
We all know that Chippewa fans are more than just fans. From the coaches on the sideline to the family in the fifth row, we are all in this together.
This joint investment in the success of our student-athletes accounted for a record-breaking $1.2 million raised last year.
With that number directly in our sights, we need your help now more than ever.
Whether it's through the new Chippewa Champions program that brings you into the inner-circle of your favorite program or bolstering the day-to-day operations through Chippewa Club giving, the Chippewas need your support.
If you have already pledged your support, we ask that you fulfill your pledge by the 5:00 p.m. deadline on June 30 to ensure you are a part of the 2011-12 campaign; one that promises to be a banner year for the Chips. The June 30 deadline is critical for your favorite Chippewa programs as money collected by that date will go toward setting team budgets for the upcoming season.
The relationship between the Chippewas and their supporters is unlike any in college sport. We encourage you to get on board for the upcoming seasons by contributing financially to our student-athletes' success.
