First Sideliners Luncheon of the season
8/29/2011 12:00:00 AM | Chippewa Fund
There is less than a week to go until the Chippewas kickoff their 2011 season against South Carolina State, but there's still time to get the inside scoop on Thursday's game straight from the "sideline."
Join the Chippewa Athletic Fund for the first Sideliners Luncheon of the new football season at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Coco Joe's Beach House Restaurant in Mount Pleasant.
The Sideliners Luncheons, hosted by CMU play-by-play announcer Don Chiodo, are an annual fall tradition for CMU football fans. The Luncheons feature a buffet-style lunch followed by a presentation by Head Football Coach Dan Enos.
Following Coach Enos' presentation, members of the audience will have a chance to engage in a brief question and answer session with the Chippewas' head man.
Other members of the Chippewa coaching staff as well as CMU student-athletes will be on hand throughout the fall.
Admission to the luncheon is $8 and includes the buffet style lunch as well as an entry in a drawing to win great Chippewa prizes each week! Reservations are not required.
