				The All-Time Series Wednesday's meeting will the be 111th all-time between Central Michigan and Michigan State, with the Chippewas holding a 62-48 advantage. The Spartans took the season series a year ago, two games to one, including the series finale at Comerica Park in Detroit, Mich., 3-1.  First of Three CMU and MSU will again play a three-game season series, with the Spartans visiting Theunissen Stadium in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday, April 18 before the two teams square off in the second annual "Clash at Comerica" on Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. Freshman Lefty on the Mound Matt Trowbridge will be making his fourth start of the season for the Chippewas looking to improve to 4-0 in those starts. The freshman picked up his third win of the season last Tuesday versus Northwood and has an earned run average of 3.52 over his first three starts. The lefty has struck out 15 batters in 15.1 innings of work, holding his opponents to a .208 batting average.  The Return of Hall Senior Tyler Hall, the team's MVP a year ago, returned to the Chippewas' lineup last week after missing the first twenty games of the season due to injury. Hall finished the week batting .333 (6-for-18) with five runs scored and six RBI, including a key three-run homer in Sunday's series-clinching win over Buffalo.  Strike Him Out Redshirt freshman Dylan Rheault has impressed in his first season in the Maroon and Gold. The 6'9" right hander is striking out over 12 batters per nine innings pitched and recorded eight strikeouts over his four innings of work in last weekend's series versus Buffalo.  Multi-Hit Machine Junior Jordan Dean has recorded a hit in all but four of CMU's games this season and has at least two in 15 of its 24 contests. Dean has had two hits in 11 contests, three hits on two occassions and four hits two different times. He currently leads the Chippewas in batting average (.390), runs (28), hits (41), triples (2), home runs (4), RBI (21), slugging percentage (.590) and stolen bases (5). Chippewas Sweep MAC West Honors Seniors Zach Cooper and Sam Russell swept this week's Mid-American Conference West Division awards, being named Pitcher and Player of the Week. Cooper struck out 10 versus Buffalo Friday to move into a tie for 10th all-time in CMU history with 213 strikesouts and Russell finished the week with a .412 batting average, three doubles and eight RBI.
