Tale of the Tape			CMU News and Notes
			The Series Central Michigan took two of three versus Toledo last season at Theunissen Stadium and holds a 82-40 advantage in the series dating back to 1973.  Scouting the Rockets Offensively, Toledo is hitting a conference-best .285 (341-for-1,196) with 166 runs (4.7 rpg) scored on 341 hits (9.7 hpg) through the first 35 games this spring (rankings as of April 15). On the mound, the Rockets are tallying a 5.20 ERA, ninth-best mark in the MAC. Toledo is giving up 5.9 runs on 9.5 hits with 5.7 punchouts per game. As a staff, UT’s hurlers are limiting the opposition to hit at a .283 clip. In Limbo Central Michigan's third annual Clash at Comerica versus Michigan State was suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning Wednesday due to inclement weather. The two teams will resume their series on May 14 at Theunissen Stadium and will play the season-series finale the same day. Fans with tickets from the Clash at Comerica can enter Theunissen Stadium with their ticket stub on May 14. Jacobs Earns Another MAC West Honor Redshirt freshman Neal Jacobs was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday after batting .563 (9-for-16) with five runs, four RBI, a home run and a pair of stolen bases versus Oakland and Ball State last week.  Foley on Pitcher of the Year Watch List Sophomore right hander and Friday ace Jordan Foley was one of 41 players named to the Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Year watch list  for his hot start to the 2013 campaign. Foley ranks first in the MAC in ERA (1.02) and strikeouts (70) and has allowed more than one earned run just once this season.  Chippewas Shuffle Schedule CMU will now play Davenport at Theunissen Stadium on Tuesday, April 23 while its game versus Kalamazoo College has been rescheduled for May 7. Both games are scheduled for 4:05 p.m. starts.
