Head Coach Dan Enos
Opening Statement
"I'm proud of our guys - we found a way to win. It was ugly at times, but that's college football week to week though. I have to give Miami a lot of credit. Their coaching staff did a great job, the guys played extremely hard. I thought their quarterback was very, very good and thought he played well. He made a lot of good plays for them. I just told our team, defensively we didn't play as well as we have been, but you just keep playing - trying to find a way to win. We got a turnover at the end then we got a stop."
Comment of the defensive not playing well in beginning, but at the end they closed the game out.
"We knew going into the game, they (Miami) throw the ball a ton. He (quarterback) does a good job - he's a senior, transfer. He's been around football a lot and very confident. There's a lot of game you watch that made you nervous because they were throwing the ball, moving in on a lot of people. He gets rid of it quick and maybe they get beat up front, but he's tough - he hangs in there. He's been hit a lot this year - we got after him a little bit too."
If Miami scored on last drive, anticipate on them going for two?
"I anticipated them doing it. I guess we will never know."
4-1 at the 41. Was there any debate on the sideline?
"No. If we would have been probably at the 30 or inside there, we probably would have went for it. But at the 41, I know we haven't been stopping them but I thought we needed a punt down there inside the ten and at least make them go 90 yards to score a touchdown to tie it in two minutes. I thought that was a smart play at that time."
Turning it over to our defense
"We have a lot of confidence in our guys. There was some questionable calls down there at the end. Jason Wilson, Brandon Greer, Tony Annese played very well for us. The lines played well. They were first-and-goal on the two and Justin Cherocci played makes that play. It was a great call by our defensive staff at that time. That, to me, was the big play of the game."
Titus' performance
"He's good - he gets open and runs great routes. As he has gotten healthier throughout this year, he's playing at a high level. I tell the coaches everyday, there's certain seniors - there's him (Titus), Andy Phillips, L.T. I just tell the coaches, 'enjoy them while we got them.' It's once in a lifetime you get to coach a guy like this."

Talk about your game today.
"I just wanted to come through for the team. I didn't care how I was going to do it, how many catches I had, how many touchdowns, I just wanted to come out with the win. Coach talked about this being the biggest game of the season thus far and we needed it so I just wanted to give it everything I had."
Is there a different gear you're in when you're in the endzone and you have the ball coming your way?
"First, when you're in the redzone and you see cover one, you want to take advantage of that. Coach saw that and called my number and the only thing that was going through my mind was just coming through for the team. I had thre confidence and I ended up making the catch."
Talk about a couple of the great catches you made today?
"That was a heck of a ball Coop threw. Right after I went up to him and said, 'where did that come from?' But that was a great ball and I just had to make an adjustment. I had the easier job, coop put it right on the money and put it only where I could get it so I only had to catch the ball which wasn't that hard."
Devon Spalding
You had another big game today, just talk about today and last week.
"Same thing, my o-line did their job and when they do their job then I can do my job and good things happen. They blocked their butts off and they worked extremely hard at practice and like I said they got the job done and played extremely well."
Were you expecting that amount of carries with all the guys in there?
"Like I told you guys last week, you have to go into the game expecting to carry the rock a lot. If I went in there and I didn't expect anything I wouldn't have been ready to play. So yes, I expected a lot of carries, you have to have that mindset as a running back."
Justin Cherocci
You had that huge sack at the end of the game. That's got to be going through your mind still.
"I don't know, coach made the right call and put me in the right spot to make the play and I just wanted to come through for the team."
Miami Head Coach Chuck Martin
"It was a good football game, start to finish. They're a real good team, they're 5-2 in the league, should be 6-1, they gave away a game to Ball State, and we knew what we needed to do against them today and we did that for most of the game."
"We played better defensively, but they took over in the second half, like any good rushing team does, and they stayed with it and wore us down. We were able to get some stops and still have a chance at the end."
"Offensively, we threw efficiently all day, didn't run great, but we can't run great. We ran well, ate up some time, shortened the game and had a chance to win."
Was there ever a point where you didn't think you were gonna score?
"The sack was a pivotal play, because we were looking at 4 tries from the 2 yard line, and then you have some options. When they pushed us back to the 9, it put us in a tougher position, and a credit to them for finding a way to make that play. They were just holding us, PI-ing us on every play, and they called a couple and they could've called more. If it's down there you've gotta make the officials make the calls."
What kind of experience is it for the guys to have another close loss?
"Well you'd rather play bad and win, but our program is different right now. We've gotta play good football right now, we played good football in a lot of areas. We went on the road against a good team and we gave them everything for the whole game. To me, there's a lot of positives in the game, we played good football, that's a positive. We controlled the clock well, played efficiently, and it wasn't painful to watch. I thought Central played good football, I thought we played football, they just played a little better and got the win."
On Enos decision to punt on 4th and 1 late in 4th quarter instead of attempting a conversion
"I thought they were going to go for it based on how well they had run the ball on us. They had been grinding the ball on us, and I think they were planning to pin us deep, but I'm not surprised they ended up deciding to punt and try to hold us."
