Ghena Earns MAC ROTW Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Nate Ghena of the men's cross country team earned MAC Runner of the Week honors the league office announced Tuesday.
The junior finished 37th overall in a time of 25:43.8 at the Roy Griak Invitational 8K hosted by University of Minnesota on Saturday.
Ghena was the top finisher for the Chippewas leading the team to a 19th place finish in a 31-team field.
This is the second MAC Runner of the Week honor for the Newport, Mich. native.
CMU is back in action Oct. 4 for the Notre Dame Invite in South Bend, Ind.
