
Eleven Chippewas Earn Cross Country Academic Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Eleven members of the Central Michigan cross country teams were named to the 2014 Academic All-Mid-American Conference team.
Eight CMU student-athletes were named to the women's squad, tying the Miami (Ohio) men for the most representatives. Three Chippewa men earned spots on the squad.
In order to qualify for the Academic All-MAC squad, a student-athlete must have appeared in at least 50 percent of his or her team's contests and have attained a 3.2 grade point average.
The Chippewas named to the team including year, major, and grade point average.
