CMU's Chiesa Honored for Academics

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Christen Chiesa was named to the 2015 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Second Team.

Chiesa, a junior defender from Pittsburgh, carries a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in exercise science/kinesiology.

Chiesa was named to the NCAA Division I District 5 squad, which includes institutions in the states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

Chiesa started all 19 games for the Chippewas this season, recording one assist.
