Ghena Earns MAC Weekly Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Nate Ghena was named the Mid-American Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Ghena, a senior from Newport, Mich., was the first Chippewa to cross the finish line - 65th overall - at the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by Minnesota.
He finished in 26 minutes, 16 seconds in the field of 201 runners. He led CMU to a 17th-place finish in a very strong field.
It is the second time this season that Ghena has been named the MAC Runner of the Week.
