MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan's Samantha Allmacher was named the Mid-American Conference cross country female runner of the week after her performance on Friday at the Oakland Golden Grizzly Short Course Dual.
Allmacher, a sophomore from Utica, was the top CMU finisher, covering the 3K course in 11 minutes, 9 seconds in the event, which served as a tune-up for the Pre-National Invitational which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15, in Terre Haute, Ind.
