Oliver Earns Sherwood Award

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. â€" Freshman Justin Oliver earned three individual awards Sunday at the Central Michigan wrestling team's annual banquet.

Oliver, who earned All-America honors with his seventh-place finish at 149 pounds in the NCAA Championships, earned the Chick Sherwood Outstanding Wrestler Award. He also earned the Most Takedowns Award and the Most Team Points Award.

Other award winners: Most Falls, Mason Smith; Most Near Falls, C.J. Brucki; Harry Richards Coaches Award, Adam Robinson; Most Improved, Jordan Ellingwood; Redshirt Wrestler of the Year, Mason Smith.
