Chippewa Soccer Welcomes Eight Signees

Of the group, four hail from Michigan, two are from Ontario, and two come to CMU from Virginia.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan soccer program announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the program on Thursday.
All eight are high school seniors who will be freshmen in 2019. Of the group, four hail from Michigan, two are from Ontario, and two come to CMU from Virginia.
The new Chippewas are midfielder Maggie Basse of Fairfax Station, Va., goalkeeper Emma Chisholm of Courtice, Ont., forward Lauren DeBeau of Shelby Township, midfielder Mariana Muskovac of Macomb, defender Chloe Parana of Canton, midfielder Cassidy Pettinger of Grand Ledge, defender Jill Sutherland of Toronto and midfielder/forward Cami Taylor of Stafford, Va.
"I'm very excited to officially add this group of student-athletes to Central Michigan today," said CMU assistant coach Stewart Givens. "I'd first like to thank assistant coach Kelsey Passaglia for all her hard work in helping to bring this class to CMU. We believe that we are adding players that will immediately compete for playing time next fall and add depth to our roster. This class is going to be an exciting group to watch once they are on campus and will great value to our soccer and our team culture right away. They represent some of the highest caliber clubs and they all have experience playing the top leagues in the USA and in Canada."
