Football, Field Hockey Featured On Sideliners

Both squads open MAC play this weekend
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan football and field hockey are on the docket this week for Sideliners, the weekly radio show hosted by Adam Jaksa.
The show runs from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday and emanates from Hunter's Ale House in Mount Pleasant. The public is welcome and can take the opportunity to mingle with Chippewa coaches and players.
Central Michigan football coach John Bonamego and Chippewa field hockey coach Catherine Ostoich are the featured guests this week.
Also scheduled to join the show are Kayla McClure and Lily Amadio of the field hockey team along with football offensive coordinator Chris Ostrowsky and wide receivers Brandon Childress and Devon Spalding.
Both the Chippewa football and field hockey teams are scheduled to open Mid-American Conference play this weekend. The football team plays at Northern Illinois on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and the field hockey team entertains Longwood on Saturday at 11 a.m. The field hockey team is also slated to play at Michigan in a nonconference game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
