Maroon Tops Gold In Intrasquad

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Maroon defeated the Gold, 17-16, Monday at McGuirk Arena in the Central Michigan wrestling team's annual intrasquad dual.

The Chippewas open the season on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Michigan State Open. They will wrestle on successive weekends at the Appalachian State Invitational and the Army Black Knight Invitational.

CMU's opening dual meet is at Michigan on Nov. 24. The Chippewas' first home event is a dual with Virginia Tech on Jan. 3.
