Two Chippewas Named To MAC All-Freshman Soccer Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two Central Michigan soccer players were named to the Mid-American Conference All-Freshman Team, released by the league today.
The Chippewas' Lauren DeBeau and Cami Taylor each earned a spot on the 13-player squad. It marks the first time since 2015 that CMU has placed multiple players on the all-freshman team.
DeBeau, who hails from Shelby Township, scored four goals and and had one assist on the season. She totaled nine points, ranking second on the team in that category.
Taylor, a native of Stafford, Va., recorded two goals and one assist for five points on the year.
