7 Chippewas Named To Academic All-MAC Soccer Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Seven Central Michigan soccer players earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors for the 2019 season.
The seven Chippewas, along with their year, hometown, grade point average and major: Katie Coleman, sophomore, Canton, 4.00, undecided; Amanda Britain, junior, Wolverine Lake, 3.98, marketing; Maria Kaschalk, junior, Macomb, 3.89, biology; Marle Bringard, senior, Midland, 3.75, biology; Chesney Wargo, sophomore, Aurora, Ill., 3.67, undecided; Sheila Magnan, senior, Brighton, 3.44, accounting; Zoie Reed, senior, Woodbridge, Conn., 3.30, exercise science.
It marks the third consecutive year that Bringard has been named to the Academic All-MAC team; it is the second consecutive year for Britain and Magnan.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in 50 percent or more of her team's games.
