Two Facilities Staff Promoted

Paul Trewhella and Brad Carlstrom elevated to new positions.
Central Michigan Athletics, through its planning initiative of strategically aligning people, titles and responsibilities, has promoted a pair of facility and event operations staff members, Paul Trewhella and Brad Carlstrom.

Trewhella, the Director of Facilities and Events Operations since 2015, will now serve as the Assistant AD of Facilities & Event Operations, while Carlstrom has been elevated to the Director of Facilities and Events Operations.

"Paul and Brad have done a fantastic job the past few months as the department went through a transition and are very deserving of this promotion," Senior Associate AD of Internal Operations Rob Peterson said. "Both have done a good job helping us make some changes to our department that will help our student-athletes and coaches succeed."

Trewhella has been in the department since 2010, joining as an intern before being elevated to the Director of Sports Camps in 2012. Carlstrom joined CMU as an intern in 2016 and was hired on in a full-time position in 2017.

Trewhella, the Director of Facilities and Events Operations since 2015, will now serve as the Assistant AD of Facilities & Event Operations, while Carlstrom has been elevated to the Director of Facilities and Events Operations.
