Head coach Jeremy Groves has signed transfer Samantha Kaye-Toral

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan soccer head coach Jeremy Groves has announced the signing of transfer Samantha Kaye-Toral.

"We are very excited to add Samantha to the roster," said Groves. "She is a mature player who is going to bring experience, pace and a dynamic ability that will help us be dangerous going forward."

A midfielder, Kaye-Toral comes to CMU from Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif. At Palomar, she was named first team all-conference in 2017 and 2018 and was a candidate for player of the year. A two-time team MVP and team captain, she totaled seven goals and nine assists for the Comets.

Prior to Palomar College, Kaye-Toral starred at Murrieta Mesa High School in Murrieta, Calif., earning first team all-league honors. She also played three years of club soccer for Arsenal FC ECNL in Ontario, Calif.

Kaye-Toral will have junior eligibility when she joins the team for the 2019 season.
