Â
A new format highlights this year's event, set for Thursday-Friday, June 13-14. The new two-day format includes a dinner event on Thursday evening at the Soaring Eagle Resort and Casino with golfing set for Friday at Buck's Run, PohlCat and the Mount Pleasant Country Club.
Â
Thursday's event will feature a performance by comedian Andy Woodhull. Woodhull is the first comedian to make his network television debut on the Tonight Show: Starring Jimmy Fallon. Tickets for just the evening are $50 and feature a buffet dinner and drink plus the opportunity to bid on unique items in the live and silent action. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Â
Cristy Freese will also be recognized during the event. Freese will retire on June 30 after 33 years in Central Michigan University Athletics, 29 of which were spent as the head coach of the field hockey team. CMU has initiate a campaign to name the field hockey field in honor of Freese.
Â
On Friday, participates get 18 holes of golf at one of the three top courses in Mid-Michigan. Also included is lunch and drinks on the course and a premium registration gift. The shotgun start is set for 9:30 a.m.
