Select Football Game Times Announced

First three games plus homecoming get kickoff times.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Mid-American Conference announced select football game times today for the 2019 season.
The announcement included CMU's first three games along with its homecoming contest. The Chippewas are set to open the season on Thursday, Aug. 29, against Albany at 7 p.m. The game will be shown on ESPN3 and will open the CMU coaching tenure of head coach Jim McElwain.
Week 2 is a trip to Big Ten-foe Wisconsin on Saturday, Sept 7. That game will be shown on Big Ten Network and kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT. The following week is Central Michigan's MAC opener against Akron. That game is set for Saturday, Sept. 14, on ESPN+ at 3 p.m.
This year's homecoming contest is set for Saturday, Oct. 12, against New Mexico State beginning at 3 p.m. The remaining games will move to a 12-day window for kickoff time and broadcast coverage.
