
Football Headed to the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan Football is headed to the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl to take on Boise State on Friday, Dec. 31.

The game will take place at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Ariz. Kick is set for Noon MT/2 p.m. ET and will be shown on BarstoolSports.com. This is CMU's 13th bowl appearance and 11th bowl game in the last 16 years.

"I want to thank the bowl committee for the opportunity to take part in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl," Zyzelewski Family Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics Amy Folan said. "We have an incredible fan base in our home state of Michigan and out in Arizona that will be cheering on our CMU Chippewas and making this bowl experience extra special."

Central Michigan and Boise State have met five times with CMU holding a 3-2 advantage in the series. The Broncos are 7-5 this season, including 5-3 in the Mountain West. CMU is 8-4 and finished 6-2 in the Mid-American Conference,
