Richardson Named A Manning Award 'Star Of The Week'

Fans can vote CMU QB as week's top signal caller on Facebook
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Daniel Richardson is one of eight quarterbacks from across the nation to be named as a Manning Award "Star of the Week."
Richardson, a redshirt freshman from Miami, Fla., came off the bench to throw three fourth-quarter touchdown passes on Saturday in CMU's 31-27 come-from-behind victory over FIU at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Richardson completed 16 of his 23 pass attempts for a career-high 276 yards in just over a quarter of work.
Fans may visit the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote on the top performance of the weekend. Voting closes on Thursday, Sept. 30, at noon ET. The top vote-getter will be named the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.
