Gibbins Leads CMU Cross Country At SVSU Red October

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Central Michigan's Jessie Gibbins won the women's race on Saturday at the Saginaw Valley Red October Cross Country Invite.
Gibbins, running unattached, won the 6K race in 23:08.8.
CMU's Lilly Evans placed sixth in 24:32.7, while the Chippewas' Lauren Lasceski was eighth (24:53.7) and Grace Jenkins was 10th (25:04.9)
CMU's Steven Porter placed 10th (28:00.3) in the men's race, an 8K.
