Wuestenfeld Named MAC Baseball Player Of The Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Danny Wuestenfeld has been named the Mid-American Conference Baseball Player of the Week after leading the Chippewas to three wins in a four-game series at Western Kentucky.
The sophomore first baseman from Plainfield, Ill. hit .467 with four RBI and scored five runs in the series.
Wuestenfeld had seven hits in 15 at-bats. Among his hits was a home run, the first of his career, and two doubles.
CMU heads to Winston-Salem, N.C. this weekend for three games, two with UMass-Lowell and one with Wake Forest.
