Patty Earns MAC Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Senior pitcher Jordan Patty was recognized as the Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance in CMU's sweep at Miami (Ohio) last weekend.
Patty threw eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits, in CMU's series-opening 2-0 victory. He tallied eight strikeouts and walked just one.
The Chippewas are 5-1 in the MAC and sit in second place behind Ball State (7-1). CMU heads to Iowa this weekend for a nonconference three-game series with the Hawkeyes beginning on Friday, March 25.
