
Lacrosse Falls at No. 14 Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Central Michigan lacrosse team fell to No. 14 Notre Dame, 24-5, at Arlotta Stadium on Sunday.
The Chippewas drop to 1-2 on the young season, while Notre Dame improves to 2-1.
Kendall Hoyt scored for the Chippewas just under five minutes into the game. Audrey Whiteside assisted.
Though the Chippewas were outscored, they were successful on five of their nine shots on goal. Notre Dame was 21 for 32.
In goal for the Chippewas, starter Erin Owens had three saves in 15 minutes and Alexa Martel had five in 45 minutes of work.
Central Michigan hosts Butler in its home opener on Friday, Feb. 24 (3 p.m.).
