Road Game tickets at Michigan State (Sept. 1), Notre Dame (Sept. 16), and South Alabama (Sept. 23) games can be purchased through the CMU Ticket Office in three different phases.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan Athletics announced that 2023 CMU Football tickets for non conference road games including Michigan State (Sept. 1), Notre Dame (Sept. 16), and South Alabama (Sept. 23) will be on sale for Chippewa Athletic Fund members starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, at 10 a.m.
To begin the process of signing up for non conference road game tickets, click here. Once an application is submitted, individuals requesting to purchase away game tickets will go into a ticket pool. A Chippewa Athletic Fund or Ticket Central Representative will be calling to confirm your qualifying donation level and maximum number of tickets available for purchase. Seating allocation will be based on Chippewa Athletic Fund giving level and seating locations will begin on August 15.
Non conference road game tickets are being sold in three different phases and to three different groups:
Phase 1 (April 26-June 16)—CAF (Chippewa Athletic Fund) members only
Phase 2 (June 19-July 14)—CAF members and 2023 CMU football season ticket purchasers
Phase 3 (July 17)—General public (all based on remaining availability)
2023 season tickets went on sale on March 6. Tickets can be purchased or renewed through Ticket Central at cmuchippewas.com or by calling the CMU Athletics Ticket Office at (989) 774-3045. Lock in your tickets now for the best seats at the best value. Single game ticket sales will go on sale at a later date. A marketing and promotions schedule will also be announced at some point.
Year five of the Jim McElwain Era at CMU will feature five home games at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Central Michigan will host New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 9 for its home opener. The Chippewas then open MAC play on Saturday, Sept. 30 against Eastern Michigan. Home games follow against Akron (Saturday, Oct. 14 for Homecoming), Northern Illinois (Tuesday, Oct. 31), and Toledo (Friday, Nov. 24, the day after Thanksgiving).

The Chippewas open their season at Michigan State on Friday, Sept. 1, play at Notre Dame on Saturday, Sept. 16, travel to South Alabama (Saturday, Sept. 23), then play four MAC away games at Buffalo (Saturday, Oct. 7), at Ball State (Saturday, Oct. 21), at Western Michigan (Tuesday, Nov. 7), and at Ohio (Wednesday, Nov. 15).
Central Michigan's 2023 football schedule was announced on March 1. Click here to access the schedule. Central Michigan and the Mid-American Conference will announce kickoff times, television appearances, and a preseason training camp schedule at a later date. The Mid-American Conference 2023 Football Media Day is scheduled for July 19-20. A time and location have yet to be determined.
Following its Friday, Sept. 1 season opener at Michigan State, CMU will play seven consecutive Saturday games, followed by three mid-week MACtion games.
