Seven Lacrosse Players Named to All-MAC Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Seven Central Michigan Lacrosse players were named to the All-MAC First and Second Teams.

The players named to the first team:

Senior, Audrey Whiteside - Midfielder, East Grand Rapids, Michigan
Senior, Kelly Hoyt - Attack, Ranchos Palos Verdes, California
Graduate Student, Maggie Diebold - Attack, Colts Neck, New Jersey
Senior, Hailie Moore - Defender, Spring, Texas

Named to the second team:
Senior, Kendall Hoyt - Midfielder, Ranchos Palos Verdes, California
Sophomore, Jozy Allen - Defender, Cincinnati, Ohio
Sophomore, Alexa Martel - Goalkeeper, Greece, New York

The Chippewas next head to Moon Township, Pa. to compete in the Mid-American Conference Tournament in the second year the conference has sponsored the sport. Central Michigan is the reigning champions and will enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed against No. 2 seed Kent State at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th.
