Rubber Ducky Day Scheduled for Saturday's Men's Basketball Game

Fans are encouraged to bring rubber ducks in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Most Unique Rubber Ducks in 2025 when Central Michigan hosts Kent State in men’s basketball on Saturday, Jan. 13 (2 p.m.).
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan will celebrate National Rubby Ducky Day when its men's basketball team hosts Kent State on Saturday, Jan. 13. Tipoff for the matchup is at 2 p.m. at McGuirk Arena.
As part of the promotion, fans are encouraged to bring rubber ducks to the game. Any ducks that are brought to the game will contribute to Central Michigan's goal of breaking the Guiness World Record for Most Unique Rubber Ducks next year in 2025.
Fans who bring 10 or more different rubber ducks to the Fan Central table will receive a free CMU National Rubber Ducky Day tee-shirt. Jeep owners receive a $5 general admission ticket if they show their vehicle registration at the ticket window on game day (no pre-sale discount). All fans in attendance will receive a Fire Up Chips! rubber duck as they depart the game.
Following the game, CMU men's basketball players will be available to sign autographs in the John G. Kulhavi Center.
