CMU Basketball Radio Show to Air Thursday at Soaring Eagle Casino

Monthly hour-long basketball radio show features Central Michigan men’s coach Tony Barbee and women’s coach Kristen Haynie; second show will air live from the Soaring Eagle Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge on Thursday, January 11 (7 p.m).
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Fans will get an inside look at both Central Michigan basketball programs as the CMU Basketball Radio Show will broadcast live from Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino Thursday evening beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Presented by Fabiano Brothers, the hour-long show will feature men's coach Tony Barbee and women's coach Kristin Haynie, who will each be interviewed for a half-hour.
Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge is located at the back of the Soaring Eagle Casino main floor. Admission is free. Fans who are not able to make it out to see the show live can listen on WUPS 98.5-FM or through the CMU Athletics app.
Hosted by Voice of the Chippewas Adam Jaksa, both coaches will provide a preview of their respective teams, break down upcoming opponents, and discuss the Chippewas' performance in their previous games.
Haynie will be interviewed in the opening segment from 7-7:30 p.m., while Barbee will have the late segment, 7:30-8 p.m.
After Thursday, two shows remain on the monthly four-show schedule, which is listed below for the 2023-24 season.
