Paupore Earns MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week Award

Paupore wins the MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week Award for the third time in her career.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Emily Paupore has been named the Mid-American Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Paupore, a senior from Negaunee, set the CMU women's cross country 5K record, finishing in 16:43.5 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
Paupore placed 26th in a field of 189 runners. Among the teams were top-five nationally ranked programs Northern Arizona, BYU and Notre Dame.
Paupore is an elementary education major who carries a 3.92 grade point average.
