Central Michigan Partners With Paciolan on New Ticket Platform

New Paciolan ticketing platform to go into effect on March 18; program to integrate Central Michigan’s marketing, ticketing, and fundraising programs.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan University has entered into a new multi-year agreement with Paciolan, Learfield's premier platform for ticketing, fundraising, and marketing technology solutions for college athletics and live entertainment venues.
Paciolan will now power mobile ticketing, fundraising, and email marketing technologies for Chippewas athletic events, performances by the CMU School of Music and University Theatre productions, and all university commencements, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing the overall event experience for the Central Michigan University community.
Central Michigan University will now be equipped to positively impact the customer experience by providing fans and supporters a single, integrated solution for purchasing tickets and managing their profiles through user-friendly digital features. Central Michigan University Athletics will also gain a more comprehensive view of preferences of fans, season ticket holders, and donors to create rich programs personalized for each customer.
"We are excited to announce this new partnership with Paciolan as our new ticketing platform," Zyzelewski Family Associate Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Amy Folan said. "Partnering with an industry leader in college ticketing like Paciolan will allow us to provide a high-level experience for our fans. I am looking forward to seeing how this new platform will make buying tickets easier for our fans and how it connects our marketing, ticketing, and fundraising processes."
Beginning with football season tickets on sale on March 18 and then events starting in August, Central Michigan fans and patrons can take advantage of the new mobile ticketing platform, purchasing tickets on their mobile devices, receiving them via text message, and using their phones for venue entry. Campus staff can then scan tickets upon entry, gathering valuable attendance data to enhance each attendee's profile. Additionally, users will be able to manage their accounts directly from their mobile devices, including easily transferring or exchanging tickets with family or friends for events they cannot attend. CMU fans and patrons began receiving an e-mail earlier in the week about the new ticketing platform asking them to update their preferences so they can receive the most up-to-date ticket, promotional, and event information regarding CMU Athletics and campus events.
The Paciolan platform seamlessly integrates into the Central Michigan University Athletics website, powered by SIDEARM Sports, Learfield's leading college sports digital solutions provider.

In addition, the university staff will have access to a highly experienced client partner, an ecommerce operations specialist, and an email marketing specialist who will help with strategic planning, sharing best practices, and consulting on the use of available Paciolan tools which will also include access management and hosted merchant services.
