Goh Leads Women's Golf in Final Round at Dolores Black Falcon Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A consistent performance by the Central Michigan women's golf team.
The Chippewas posted their second consecutive 310 team score on Saturday to finish with a 620 team total and in eighth place in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
CMU's Ashley Goh shot her second 4-over par 76 of the tournament to finish with a 152 total to finish tied for 23rd in the 85-player field in the two-day, 36-hole event.
CMU's Rachel Niskanen, Rachel Kauflin and Mackenzie Baustand each posted a 6-over 78 on Sunday as CMU finished with a 310 team score – the same as it shot in Saturday's opening round – and finished in eighth place with a 620 total.
Niskanen, who opened on Saturday with a 3-over 75, finished with a 154 total and tied for 32nd, while Kauflin finished tied for 43rd with a 156 total. Baustad tied for 49th with a 158 total.
It was the Chippewas' final tournament before the Mid-American Conference Championship, which is scheduled for April 21-23 at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.
Also for CMU, Lexi Schulman shot 89 to finish at 177. Two other Chippewas, Alexis McMurray and Evanka Shah, played in the tournament as individuals. McMurray closed with an 86 to finish at 166 and Shah carded an 86 to finish at 178.
Pennsylvania shot 292 on Sunday to win the tournament with a 3-over 579. The Quakers won by 10 shots over runner-up Harvard. Western Michigan (598) was third.
Julie Shin of Penn shot a 2-under 70 on Saturday to take medalist honors with a 5-under 139. Macy Hanus of Toledo (72) and Charissa Shang of Harvard (73) tied for second at 2-under.
