Borgman Named MAC Goalkeeper of the Week

The junior keeper recorded her first career shutout in 2-0 victory over Eastern Michigan Wednesday
CLEVELAND —Brylee Borgman (Norton Shores, Mich. / Mona Shores) of Central Michigan Soccer was named the Mid-American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week in a poll of MAC coaches, the league announced Friday.
Borgman tallied seven saves—one shy of her career high—and her first career shutout in the Chippewas' 2-0 victory over Eastern Michigan to conclude the 2025 campaign.
In 13 appearances, 11 starts, the junior collected 70 saves (.778 save percentage) in her first season of action.
Her selection marks the first MAC weekly honoree for CMU since Oct. 27, 2021, earned by Maria Kaschalk.
