Central Michigan Football Inks 31 on National Signing Day

Central Michigan Football signs 31 student-athletes on Wednesday; Early signing period runs through Friday.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan University announced a 31-member 2026 football signing class on Wednesday afternoon (as of 4 p.m. ET).
Wednesday, December 3 marked National Signing Day for NCAA Division I FBS football programs. The early football signing period runs through Friday, but transfers have several periods to sign. The next National Signing period is scheduled for Feb. 4 into the spring.

Fifteen signees will arrive on campus and enroll at Central Michigan in January 2026. Seven signees are junior college transfers, while 24 are high school seniors/incoming freshmen.
On offense, Central Michigan signed two running backs, three wide receivers, two tight ends, and seven offensive linemen. On defense, the Chippewas added five defensive linemen, five linebackers, and six defensive backs.
Eleven of the 31 signees are Michigan natives. The group is also comprised of four players from California, three players each from Illinois and Indiana, two players each from Florida and Missouri, and one player each from Iowa, Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin, Utah, and Pennsylvania.
