Sixteen Chippewas participate in workout in front of NFL Scouts on Tuesday morning at CMU’s Indoor Athletic Complex and Turf Bay.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Sixteen Chippewas football players participated in a series of workouts and tests in front of more than 25 National Football League scouts at Central Michigan's annual NFL Pro Day Tuesday at its Indoor Athletic Complex and Turf Bay.

Central Michigan players taking part in the three-hour workout included running back Myles Bailey, offensive lineman Vashon Bailey, punter David Chapeau, defensive lineman Jaden Davis, wide receiver Solomon Davis, running back B.J. Harris, defensive back Donte Kent, running back Marion Lukes, placekicker Tristan Mattson, defensive back Da'Raun McKinney, linebacker Ke'Shon Parker, wide receiver Jesse Prewitt III, offensive lineman Dominic Serapiglia III, offensive lineman Brayden Swartout, linebacker Justin Whiteside, and defensive lineman Jason Williams. Organized by NFL scouts and Central Michigan personnel, the event began with weight room testing including weigh-in, a flex test, vertical jump, and bench press. Testing was followed by an open field session which included the broad jump, 40-yard dash, pro shuttle and L Drill.

Players were then put through position-specific drills and exercises. Offensive linemen Vashon Bailey, Serapiglia and Swartout, and defensive lineman Williams all worked through position-specific drills. Wide receivers Davis and Prewitt, along with running backs Myles Bailey, Harris and Lukes caught passes from current Central Michigan quarterback Jadyn Glasser. The running backs also completed a set of individual exercises. Linebackers Parker and Whiteside and defensive backs Kent and McKinney also worked through position drills. Specialists Mattson and Chapeau both completed kicking activities outside in Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wis.

Central Michigan announced its entire 2025 football schedule on Wednesday morning. The Chippewas open spring practice on Tuesday, March 18. The 2025 Spring Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12. Additional details on practice dates and times will be announced in the next week.
