Football Spring Game Set for Saturday at Noon

Fans will get their first glimpse of the 2025 Central Michigan football team as the program hosts its first spring football game in seven years; Athletic Department surplus sale to run on Friday and Saturday.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Fans will get their first look at the 2025 Central Michigan Football team as the program will host a Spring Game on Saturday at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Kickoff is at noon ET.
Admission is free and stadium gates open at 11 a.m. Parking and tailgating will be available in lots 62E, 62W, 63, and 64. Tailgating and lots open at 9:30 a.m. Lot 64 is reserved for Chippewa Athletic Fund members.
The Central Michigan football program is hosting its first spring game since 2018. The game is expected to run an hour and a half as the offense will take on the defense. Both units will be designated either Team Kramer or Team Deromedi in honor of CMU's two Hall of Fame football coaches.
On both Friday and Saturday, the Central Michigan Athletic Department will host a surplus sale for its sports apparel, which includes a variety of items: former player jerseys, equipment, hats, bags, team issued gear, and other CMU Athletics gear. The sale begins on Friday at the Chippewa Champions Center Atrium from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. and continues Saturday starting at 11 a.m. at the Fabiano Brothers Patio located just inside the Northwest entrance to Kelly/Shorts Stadium and adjacent to the Chippewa Champions Center. The sale will close at the end of the spring game.

2025 Central Michigan Football season tickets went on sale on Monday, March 10. Tickets can be purchased or renewed online at Ticket Central at www.cmuchippewas.com at this link, or by calling the CMU Athletics Ticket Office at (989) 774-3045. Lock in your tickets for the best seats at the best value. More details on season ticket renewals will be e-mailed out to season ticket holders in the coming days.
Tickets for Central Michigan's 2025 non conference games, including the Saturday, Sept. 13 contest at Michigan are on sale now. Chippewa Athletic Fund members will have the ability to purchase a limited number of tickets based on donation levels shown below until June 10th. Seating allocation at all games will be based on current CAF donation level. Tickets are $60.00 each for CMU's game at Michigan, $30.00 for the San Jose State game, and $20 for the Pittsburgh game. Tickets for these three games can be purchased online at www.cmuchippewas.com or by calling the Chippewa Athletic Fund at (989) 774-6680.
Central Michigan opens its 2025 football season at San Jose State on Thursday, August 28. The Chippewas will play five home games, including four on Saturdays and play seven in-state games including at Michigan (Sept. 13) and at Western Michigan (Nov. 1).

- Immediately after the game, Central Michigan football players will host a post-game autograph session featuring a free poster. Autographs will be available either in the Chippewa Champions Center Atrium or Fabiano Patio. Fans can enter the CCC through the Fabiano Patio.
- A Kids Zone featuring a bounce house, face painter, coloring station, and games will be available. During the game, fans will have the opportunity to participate in t-shirt tosses and other promotions.
- One concessions stand will be open to fans.
- CMU Athletics ticket office personnel will staff the Northwest and Southwest box offices to assist in the purchase and renewal of 2025 Chippewa football season tickets, and non conference road game tickets.
- Chippewa Athletic Fund staff members will provide tours to fans interested in premium seating (club seats, loge boxes, suites or Isabella Bank VIP Club) options for the upcoming season.
